How about button 3 and 4 what are they for?
They are not used.
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for doing what you do! I have placed several orders with PyroBoom and it's amazing how fast the order arrives at my door step!! Quality products!
How do you program the post 2023 modules? Doesn't seem to be the same process.
1. Power on the R12 and the P1200 2. Set your P1200 to the desired district 3. Press M on the R12 until you get to F9 4. Press and hold the Check button on the R12 a. It will make a very annoying beeping noise b. Keep holding it down 5. Press fire button #1 on the P1200 6. Release the R12 button 7. Release the fire button 8. All cues should be programmed at this point. a. I would test each cue 1 to 12
PVC company: wooowww buddy you hit that a lot harder
haha
He lightly smacked the black one but had to hammer the black one
Use a 5lb hammer like this one and hit PVC 50 times and hit HDPE 50 times. Use the same hit every time. which one will break? PVC will break. If you can prove me wrong I'll send you $50.00.
Would Schedule 80 PVC work?
No, Schedule 80 PVC is the pipe in the video. Bad idea.
@@PYROBOOM that definitely isnt SCH 80 that is SCH 40
@@SMALLpoXxXx PVC = PVC and PVC = stupid for using it to launch fireworks
@@PYROBOOM my comment was a question,, not a statement....STUPID! I'm amazed how you speak to your audience....
Can I purchase 1.4 pro line fireworks with this firing system
Not sure I'm following, but you can shoot 1.4 pro line fireworks with using this system.
I really want this but i dont know what to get with it cause there is the P12 12-cue firing system and there is the P4 Firing Module. what is the best thing to do if i want the control desk?
The P12 is a kit. It's a 12-cue unit and it is unit that has the firing system in a box. You just to need add igniters and fireworks. If you want more the 12 cues then you probably want the P1200 with 4 or more of the P4s. The P1200 is a big remote (that stays with you). The P4s go in the field. Based on your comment I would recommend this: 1 P1200, 4 P4s, 3 bags of 3m igniters.
@@PYROBOOM i really want the Control desk cause of the Professional feeling. what would be the cheaper thing to do it just seemed like getting P12 and the 1200 control desk made the most since the main features i want are fire all and sequence fire. yes i want something where i can be far away and push button to fire so the control desk is a must for me
@@tylerneal5390 Sounds good. Feel free to reach out to us directly. www.pyroboom.com/contactus.aspx
Thank you so much man, I really appreciated the review! Definitely going to pick up this module for the 4th!
Great video!
Very cool!
Do you know anything about how weather proof these things are?
To my knowledge all firing systems are virtually the same when it comes to weather proof. There is no such thing as a weather proof firing system from anyone. Yes, they get cold or hot, yes, they can get wet (some). Sorry I can't provide any more details on this. Nearly everyone shoots when it's in the Summer and it's not raining.
@@PYROBOOM alright thank you
Could you make it in a roll so you could it to the desired lengh
Due to the national fuse shortage we are going to be out of stock of the Fuse Lynx in a few days. As of right we don't see anyone getting more fuse in stock that burns below 20 seconds per foot for a good while. I'm sorry for the bad news.
What else is new,it was just a thought
Where can i buy some leds?

would i need any license to order fuse from you guys or tubes?

Hi sir can I use a HDPE tube for a 5 inch shell? Is it safe with half buried ? And is HDPE double wall corrugated suitable to use as a launcher?
You can you use a 5" tall consumer canister shell with an HDPE DR11 12" mortar tube. We'd recommend using a mortar rack. No, corrugated HDPE can't be used. Must be smooth wall.
@@PYROBOOM thanks for getting back to me sir , unfortunately HDPE is not available here in my country, but can I use a heavy duty stainless steel half buried with 10mm thickness for a 5 inch coconut shell? Any suggestions on this sir?
@@legitdude6916 If it's a 5" diameter shell and you are not within the USA then I'm sorry, we can't help on this one. Be safe.
I was thinking, what if you “fuse lynx” a fuse lynx to make it longer? Just tape the beginning of the lynx to the end of the other lynx?
Yes, 100% you can do this!
"Quicker than zip ties or tape"... YES, but how strong is the hold? Can you pick up all 6 without any of them coming apart? How do they actually perform? I often times, will make some "finale strings" with my consumer shells to load into a rack later and transport to the shoot site. Would these help with that or would they be a waste of time?
Yes, quicker than zip or tape. The hold is good and we did extensive testing with many outside testers before it went into production. It will not come apart. They perform 100%. These are great for 6-shot racks and should be fused onsite. We have found it takes about 10 seconds to fuse up 6 shells.
This reminds me, i need more 12" tubes
Yes!
In series, you’ll only get one to fire before you lose continuity as soon as one nichrome wire burns through.
The pieces aren't reusable right? As in, you can just slide another style of fuse through those little black pieces after they've been used?
Just one-time use. All fuse is just one-time use actually. You can't re-use anything on the Fuse Lynx.
Nice
This is a great starting system for learning electronic firing of fireworks, still have mine but also a cobra.
These look awesome, but is there any chance of making them with either yellow or white fast-fuse?
We'd love too, but given the fuse shortage it might be a while. Thanks for the suggestion!
Can’t wait to use mine. I ordered Sunday night and got them yesterday! My quick thoughts on these. Someone below pointed out doing them in longer quantities. 6, 12, 24? Just an idea. Also, what about making them with the different burn rates so we could build them into racks for different pacing?
We hope to add more! Thank you!
Very simple. It's paper sleeves and heat shrink tubing slid onto a fuse. Nice
Thanks for the safety vid. No doubt that PVC would be a full tilt fragmentation pipe bomb if the shell went off inside of it. Where can you buy the HDPE pipe at a reasonable price. The premade fireworks tubes are very pricy. I can build my own rack as well. Wow! Just went to your website. Great prices!!! Best that I've found online. Thanks for not being too expensive!
we should have the lowest prices on tubes/shipping for consumer HDPE is the USA. pyroboom.com
If the tube is to long … Can you cut them to make them shorter? For example… lets say I have a mortar, but the fuse isn’t long enough to light up… would it be okay to cut it shorter?? Thank you! Edit: I have some 5” display shells…. Is there certain lengths for certain mortars??
From a liability standpoint: I don't think you should cut the tube shorter than 12".
@@PYROBOOM okay awesome!
Why not use steal or metal of some sort I'm not seeing any videos about metal one
The purpose of this video is to show the danger of using PVC vs. HDPE. They make pipe bombs from metal, so we don't recommend it.
better to be safe then sorry never want to have wood shards in big chunks breaking so great choice using the OSB
I like racks that have a way you can customize the angle you want your mortar shell firing at i really like being able to see angels cause some shell kits have tail effects like comet tails so its just great to see the angle i like racks that have adjustable angels
Thanks! We sell quite a few of the ATRs (Adjustable Tilt Racks).
@@PYROBOOM thats great but sadly you dont have any of them for 15inch tubes cause im really interested in these new 5 inch 6 inch and 7 inch canister shell kits. so having a 15inch tube for these shells is safer in my view gives you enough time to back away but ive never fused a rack together shooting more then 2 shells out of a rack. cant wait to buy ATR and a firing system really need both of them
Very good video now what if your looking for fire all or fire 1 at a time how can that be done?
Yes, it sure can. With our "P" series systems you can program the back of cue to fire-all or you can hit fire-all on the remote.
Do the P12 modules separate? As in, can you set up 3 different firing stations 30 feet from each other? Not sure if the modules stay in the case.
@@tithefox4573 Yes, you can spread them out 200+ feet apart.
I bought some tubes from another company(my bad)and noticed some had crooked plugs in them. I started putting them up to the light and I can see light coming through the edges of the tube at the plug so they aren't fully plugged. Is this normal? If not is it dangerous? Seems like lift charge will be blowing out the bottom of the tubes. Can you look at some of yours up to the light to see if you can see any light coming through the bottom?
I would reach out to the company where you purchased these from. We don't want to take responsibility for someone else's tubes. Our plugs are tight in the tube. Keep in mind plastic/wood both contract and expand.
@@PYROBOOM True but if you see light coming through all the tubes at the plug then something ain't right. Am I correct in that assumption? lift charge will be blowing out the bottom won't it? I would never ask you to take responsibility for someone else's junk. I'm just asking you cause you know
@@bigmacfullerton7870 I would request you discuss the issues with as much detail you can provide to your supplier. They will need to make a decision on what to do with the tubes you have. I'm sorry that we can't help anymore with this.
So you absolutely have to staple or screw into the plug? What kind and size screw? Also After how many shots should you be concerned about the wood plug and replace it?
Yes, you will want to staple it. I would use 2 16ga or 4 18ga staples. 1" in length or longer. You should get dozens of shots with proper use and storage. Also inspection (unloaded) is crucial. I would not use screws.
In short HDPE at a molecular level can flex and not shatter!
Any plans on making these for mortar racks with spacers?
Hope so! Right now we can't keep up with the demand of these as they take quite a bit of time to make. Great suggestion! Thank you!
Can you use multiple ignition wires on one cue or will this cause a voltage issue?
Yes, you sure can. We have tested 4 on 1 with no issues.
This is an awesome invention. Have you thought about selling just the pieces to lead onto the fuse in like 100 packs?
Thanks! As of right we don't plan on selling just the Lynx pieces.
Nice information. Thanks for the reason why you use osb vs soild wood in your racks,
Thanks for sharing, great demonstration.
Thanks for watching!
Nice, wish they were longer but it’s better than nothing cause I hate fusing🤦♂️👌🏽
Has anyone found full sticks of hdpe for 1.4 canister?
Yes, we have them here at pyroboom.com. We can sell you a bundle of 88 sticks (20ft length) for $2.10 per foot plus tax and you would need to buy the entire bundle. Offer is good until 3/15/22 due to supply chain shortages.
Will these be also made in a 10 shot?
Yes, we plan on doing this. we are probably about a month out on them.
Are the 10 shot Lynx available yet?
@@josephrhoades2464 We put up a few dozen per day because they very time consuming to make. I'd try again now.

@@josephrhoades2464 We usually put more up for sale around 10pm to 2am EST daily.
Great way to save ALOT of time.
ill have to order and try some
Is the price on the website just for "1 piece" ... It says "1 pack" in the product description, and that pack is not clearly defined .... it does not give a "quantity" of pieces included???
Hi. Sorry, we thought saying "1 pack" means 1. I'll update the description now.
Will these be also made in a 10 shot?
Will 2 of these r4 modules interfere with one another?
They will not.
Are they reusable
The firing system can be used over and over again. The igniters are one-time use, just like the fireworks and the fuse.
